Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Sundeis Cakes and Patisserie (the trading name of Sundeis Ltd). By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General
1.1. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website and the services provided by Sundeis Cakes and Patisserie.

1.2. By using our website and purchasing our products, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website or purchase our products.

2. Orders
2.1. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse an order for any reason.
​
2.2. Once your order has been accepted, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation is legally binding, subject to your rights of cancellation (see section 5).
​
2.3. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete information when placing an order. We are not liable for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by you.
​
2.4. Any changes to your order must be communicated to us in writing at least 21 days before the delivery or collection date. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee that changes can be made.
​
2.5. For custom orders, including wedding cakes, detailed specifications must be provided at the time of order. Changes to these specifications may incur additional charges.

3. Prices and Payment
3.1. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable and are in GBP (£). Prices are subject to change without notice.

3.2. Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment through various methods as indicated on our website.
​
3.3. If your payment is not received or is declined by your bank or card issuer, we cannot hold products against your order.
​
3.4. For custom orders, including wedding cakes, a non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking. The amount of the retainer will be specified at the time of booking and will be deducted from the final balance. The final balance is due 28 days (4 weeks) before the delivery or collection date.
​
3.5. For items paid by invoice, payment terms will be agreed upon at the time of order. Invoices must be paid within the specified timeframe. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your order.
​
3.6. Promotional codes and discounts must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively. Only one promotional code can be used per order.
​
4. Delivery and Collection
4.1. We will deliver the products to the address specified in your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that this address is correct.
​
4.2. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We will not be liable for any delays in delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control.
​
4.3. If no one is available to accept the delivery at the specified address, we will follow the delivery instructions provided by you at the time of placing your order. Additional charges may apply for redelivery.
​
4.4. We currently offer delivery within a specific radius of our location. Please refer to our delivery policy for more details on areas covered and delivery charges.
​
4.5. If you opt to collect your order, please ensure you do so at the agreed time. We are not liable for any damage to the products once they have been collected.
​
4.6. Upon delivery or collection, you or your designated person must inspect the order and sign to confirm receipt. Any issues must be reported immediately.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1. Perishable Goods: Due to the perishable nature of our products, orders for cakes and patisserie items cannot be cancelled once they have been prepared or dispatched. If you need to cancel your order, please do so at least 21 days before the delivery or collection date to receive a full refund.

5.2. Custom Orders: Custom or bespoke orders, including wedding cakes, cannot be cancelled once work has commenced on your order. If you need to cancel a custom order, please do so at least 21 days before the delivery or collection date to receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable retainer.
​
5.4. Cancellation by Us: While it is rarely necessary, we reserve the right to cancel your order if we are unable to fulfill it for any reason. In such cases, you will be notified, and a full refund will be issued.

5.5. How to Cancel: To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at info@sundeis.co.uk . Please provide your order number and details of the order you wish to cancel.
​
5.6. Refunds: Refunds for cancelled orders (where applicable) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request. Refunds will be made to the original payment method.
​
​5.7. Damages and Issues: Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
​
5.8. Refunds for Damaged Goods: If your product arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We may request photographic evidence of the damage. Refunds or replacements will be processed based on our assessment.

6. Allergies and Dietary Requirements
6.1. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements when placing your order. While we take great care to avoid cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is entirely free from specific allergens. Please refer to our allergy disclaimer to see out full statement

7. Liability
7.1. Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this agreement is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased.
​
7.2. We are not responsible for indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage and which are not foreseeable by you and us.
​
7.3. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents, or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products.

8. Governing Law
8.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
9.1. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting.
