All the core edible elements in the Sweets by Post range is created by Chef Abby, the trained patisserie chef behind Sundeis, based in Purley, South London. Nothing is outsourced.

You can easily order our standard cakes and pastries through our online store . For wedding cakes, dessert tables, corporate orders, or bespoke designs, please reach out via our enquiry form above, or contact us through email. We’re happy to discuss your vision and finalize the details over email or phone. Please note that we get booked up quickly, so we recommend ordering as early as possible. We also offer a cake tasting package with three flavours of your choice for £40, available for collection from our Purley location.

All our portion sizes are based on dessert servings, with each slice measuring 1 inch by 2 inches (2.5 cm x 5 cm). Every bespoke order comes with a guide on how to cut our tall cakes beautifully, so you get every serving out of them. Our bespoke round cakes are all 7 inches tall with 4 layers, and are finished in buttercream or ganache. We do not offer fondant-covered or novelty cakes.Pricing depends on size and design complexity : more intricate decoration sits at the higher end of each range. To confirm your bespoke or wedding order, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer, with the remaining balance due 4 weeks before delivery or collection. All design changes must be finalized by this point (additional fees may apply for adjustments). For orders placed within 4 weeks of the delivery date, full payment is required at the time of booking. As we limit the number of orders each week to ensure quality, we recommend booking your cake well in advance. Your order is only confirmed once payment has been received. For more information, please refer to our full Allergen Policy . All of our cakes contain WHEAT FLOUR (GLUTEN) and may also include EGGS, MILK, SOYA, and SULPHITES. Please be aware that all of our products are made in a kitchen that handles NUTS. If you have specific allergen concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us. Unfortunately, our products are not suitable for those with coeliac disease.

While we don’t offer cake stand rentals, we’re happy to source and supply them at cost for your convenience.

We offer delivery and setup for wedding cakes and larger tiered cakes within Central London for £75. For areas outside London, pricing is quoted based on mileage and time. You can also collect your cake from our Purley location, where we’ll package it for safe transport and provide detailed handling instructions. However, we recommend having us deliver any tiered cakes, as we cannot be held responsible for the cake once it leaves our care.
